Are you a heart-centered care giver who is in need of housing but finds rents too high? I have ALS and I need an attendant who can be here from 4:00 pm and overnight till around 8:00 am. Your own room and meals would be provided in exchange for light meal preparation, light house keeping, set up of morning 'toilette' (done the night before), minimal assistance with dressing, and some shopping and pick up of mail. You could also help me with Range of Motion exercise, if interested. If so, you must be willing to be trained (at no cost to you) in passive Range of Motion exercises. I have a home health aide that comes from 9 am to 2 pm. Hours are somewhat flexible and you could be gone a few hours in the evenings. You may possibly be a student and/ or be employed elsewhere part time. Prefer someone with healthcare or home caregiver experience. No tobacco smokers please.
