If you are a band or solo artist looking to record an e.p or full length album Roots is an excellent choice with top notch sound and a great vibe. The studio is all wood with great acoustics, natural reverb and large enough to record a 7 piece band. We are running Pro Tools and can record up to 64 tracks 16 live. Preamps and plugins include API, SSL, Universal Audio, Waves Diamond Bundle, Lexicon Reverbs, and Brainworx eq's. We also have a 16 channel Allen & Heath Analog mixing board. Microphones include large diaphragm condensers by Rode, Studio Projects and AKG, ATM33a Cardioid Condenser overheads, AKG d112 kick drum mic, two Sure Beta 56's and 3 SM 57's and 3 German Sennheiser tom mics. You are also welcome to use any of the instruments. Amplifiers: Fender Deluxe and Ampeg bass amp. Pearl 5 piece drum kit, Fender big apple american strat, Warwick 4 string bass, Fender fretless jazz bass, Yamaha ypp-50 piano, Alvarez 12 string guitar, and a spanish classical Artessano. Some recent artists that we have Recorded or Mixed include Y la Bamba, Philly's Phunkestra, Violet Isle, Max Ribner with Devin Phillips and Lilla D Mone, The Israelites, The Shy Seasons, and The Singing Knives.
