My area of expertise:

- configuration, optimization and/or reinstall of Microsoft Windows, MS Office and other major (and minor) programs;

- replacing one operating system (say, Vista or Windows 7) with another (say, Windows XP Professional);

- removal of viruses, malware, spyware and adware;

- data recovery;

- testing, replacing, upgrading, configuring and optimizing the hardware (processors, memory, hard- and optical drives, video, audio, network, modem and interface - USB, FireWire, etc - cards, and so on).

There are some jobs that I won't do: repairing the screens, motherboards or power jacks of laptops; installing or configuring file-sharing programs (Kazaa, LimeWire, Torrent, eMule, etc).

Free estimate (15-45 min) is done in your presence.

Convenient drop-off and pick-up location (close to the intersection of Dempster & Milwaukee in Niles) and hours (8am-9pm daily; in some cases these hours can be extended both ways to accommodate your needs). In some cases I may also consider making visits to your home/business.
