I am a saxophone player with over fifteen years of experience playing everything from jazz to rock to reggae. I also have over a year of teaching experience and am looking to add some students to my current roster.

To date, most of my students have been beginners but I would love to teach more seasoned players as well. My specialties are in tone and improvisation. With my beginner students my approach focuses on getting the student playing, having fun, and sounding good doing it by building a strong foundation and encouraging creativity. Reading music, music theory, and the physics of sound and the saxophone are also important elements and we will go over all of them, but, more importantly, let's jam!
