Am offering SEAMSTRESS SERVICES - mostly for repairing or altering. Mostly work on "alterations" - hemming, shortening, taking in side seams in/out, etc. Will consider Drape Hemming depending on the project difficulty.

My list of sewing projects include: Dresses - Casual, Prom + Bridesmaid, Pants Hemming, Jacket + Men's Shorts and Pants Zippers, Side Seam Intake, T-shirt Logo Tags, Baseball Jersey Numbers (8x4) & Letter, Mattress Cover Patching. moving Buttons + securing Buttons hand sewing, etc. Formal Dress fabrics have experience with - Chiffon + Satin Polyester. Have also created Hanging Fabric Bag with Loop - both ends have opening with elastic seams - this is a storage bag for stuffing your plastic bags inside. Very decorative to hang on a door or wall hook or door handle.

Have experience doing repair work on Civil War era costumes, including Hoop Skirts. Have done hemming + tailoring type work on a Trench Rain Coat. Worked on 6' Bunny Head + Suit. Recently sewed Double Knee Patches on number of Men's Jeans.

Have a newer machine that uses "stretch" stitch needles + dial, so thread seam "gives" with the fabric. Also uses "micro tip" needles for chiffon + sheer fabrics. Uses "denim" needles for denim jeans, etc. Has a assortment of 8 regular + zigzag stitches, plus the same 8 assortment for "stretch" stitches for stretch fabrics.

Projects will not handle: Blinds/Shades, Leather Jackets, Slip Covers or Chair Covers, etc.

Have been sewing for many years since age 16 - so have good experience. Have been working on these smaller projects with many satisfied customers and very good reviews. Will discuss pricing when am contacted.
