Seeking Experienced, Energetic, Caring, and Flexible Nanny (Fairmount Area, Philadelphia)
Hello,
We live in the Fairmount area of Philadelphia and we are in search of a mature, reliable, trustworthy, and physically active female nanny (who is interested in a long-term position with our family) to care for our 7-month old son. The hours will vary each week so flexibility is a necessity -- the start time will be early morning (around 8 or 9am) some days and late morning (around 10 or 11am) other days and one of us will arrive home around 5 pm (although sometimes it may be earlier). Our ideal candidate will be adept at planning educational, indoor and outdoor activities which are designed to promote and engage his curiosity and imagination, as to avoid the use of television. We would like the nanny to take our son on long walks, read stories often, and as he continues to grow, take him on fun outings such as to children museums, the zoo, play board games, and puzzles as well as doing crafts. You must be motivated, energetic, and engaging. We are seeking a candidate who is willing to comply with our parenting style and has the following qualifications:
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers
• Excellent professional references from families (minimum 3)
• Documentation of my criminal background check and child abuse clearance
• Non-smoking
• Flexible schedule
• Pediatric CPR certified
*Education or Nursing background and bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred
