Hi, I'm a 24 year old female percussionist interested in forming an instrumental group. My specialties are vibraphone, drum set, and tabla. I'm almost done with my degree in Percussion Performance. I've also studied Jazz, Composition, and Music Therapy.

I'm seeking like-minded instrumentalists in their 20's that want to make innovative instrumental music, understand basic theory, and are driven to get paid to play. Once there are at least 2 others on board, we can start by putting together covers (I prefer jazz standards), getting paying gigs, and then writing originals.

I'd like to start rehearsing once a week in the middle of May. Maybe we'd meet once or twice before that to pick songs. I'd like to gig together this summer, but I will give you the heads up that I don't have a lot of experience booking my own gigs--since I've been in school, naturally my gigs have been mandatory lol. So if you have experience in that field, let me know!
