I am a stay-at-home mother. I have very basic sewing skills: I know how to thread and run my machine, I can hem curtains, and I have made simple items like tote bags. But I'd like to improve and learn more. My seams are usually crooked, I don't really know how to do zippers, etc.

I am thinking that I could get the fabric and materials for a project and you could help me do it. Or you could just come teach me in your own way.
