Returning to our roots and getting back to basics, we are looking to buy 1 to 5, maybe 10 acres for off grid sustainable living (1000 acres would be real nice). Transplanted from Oregon, we are doing what we can now on a 1/2 acre lot but are in too close proximity to city limits for our liking. Ideally, this property would contain a fresh water spring, no cell phone service, and a sky full of stars at night, set in rolling hills surrounded by densely growing vegetation--a "conservation area"of sorts--it's nice to dream...
