Currently looking to fill several positions, drivers and laborers for our snow plowing and services.
We work every measurable snow storm and pay quickly and on-time. No excuses.
Company Vehicle Drivers - $20-30 per hour
Experienced snow plowing operators will drive and operate a plow truck with an 8' heavy duty snow plow clearing snow from driveways and parking lots at various properties. Each driver will leave our yard with a 2-3 man crew of sidewalk workers who will clear the walkways at the properties.
Responsibilities Include:
Read a route sheet and know the most efficient travel routes
Provides proper care and caution to vehicles and equipment
Follow directions issued by the Snow Manager
Maintains safe work practices
Any direct contact with a customer must be reported immediately to Snow Manager
Required Experience:
Must be on call 24/7 including holidays from November 15th to April 15th
Must have a valid and acceptable driver's license and driving record
Report to work fully prepared with proper winter attire within one hour of being called
At least 2 years of snow plowing experience
Owner/Operators - $60-80 per hour
Experienced owner operators will drive and operate their own work vehicle and snow plow. These drivers will pick up or have their route sheet sent to them before each storm and will report directly to the first job site and will work together with a driver in a company vehicle. Responsibilities and experience are the same for company drivers and owner/operators
Sidewalk Crew - $12-18 per hour
Sidewalk crew members will report to our yard and will leave with a snow plow driver. This is an unskilled task in the nature of manual labor and requires the performance of heavy lifting. Crew members will load their snow blowers, shovels and salt into a company truck before leaving our yard.
Responsibilities Include:
â€Â¢Unload and load bags of salt
â€Â¢Maintains alertness to the condition of equipment
â€Â¢Shovel and operate snow blower to clear all sidewalks of snow/ice
â€Â¢Spread salt on sidewalks when needed
Required Experience:
â€Â¢Willingness, stamina and physical ability to work long hours during the snow season
â€Â¢Must be on call 24/7 including holidays from November 15th to April 15th
â€Â¢Use hands to operate, lift, carry, push, pull and capable of lifting up to 50lbs. or more
â€Â¢Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements
â€Â¢Report to work fully prepared with proper winter attire within one hour of being called.
