This handsome turn of the century mantle was sold by us just a few years
ago. The nice lady used as a faux mantle in her apartment and now owns
a house with plenty of mantles so it's back to use for consignment. It has
lots of unique character to it with its dark walnut stain and the minimal
carvings. Definitely a transition piece that's leaving the Victorian era but
yet not quite all the way Edwardian. This is ready to use and not so heavy
