College Nannies and Tutors is a comprehensive nanny agency in the Richmond, VA area that fully employs nannies and tutors. We have many positions available with new ones opening each week. A family near Carytown in Richmond is seeking a reliable and experienced special needs nanny for their school aged girl.

This position starts August 2015 and is ongoing. We are looking for a long term candidate.

Start date: Ideally 8/3/2015

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 am to 2 pm

Duties: Taking care of 5 yr old girls needs. A genetic condition causes her to have developmental delays so much like caring for an infant. Duties include, feeding, toileting, becoming comfortable with a feeding tube, keeping her busy and happy, being there to help her in the classroom at school, then driving home or to appointments (gas reimbursed). Communicating with school and parents when needed. Employing therapy strategies to help. Some dispensing medication and simple meal prep (light).

Nanny will have a lot of guidance and support for any questions or needs.

The ideal candidate will be CPR/First Aid Certified (can be trained), be self directed and capable, takes initiative and isn't afraid to learn and become comfortable with caring for an a-typical child. Some experience with special needs (willing to learn) and someone who loves children is a must! No smokers please.

Requirements to work for College Nannies and Tutors:

*Good driving record and reliable transportation
