The focus is on developing problem solving skills, and boosting performance quickly. The goal is to obtain a two grade point jump in performance in two weeks or less. In the past many D/F students have been able to improve their test scores to C and even A/B as a result of the tutoring.
The tutor started formal tutoring almost 24 years ago, when he attended Stanford School of Engineering's tutor training program. He has a BS from Harvard and a PhD from Stanford in Engineering.
