Sociologically, the Squadbay comes to represent a safe and sacred social space for the Marines housed there. It is the place to share their most intimate insecurities with their brothers, and sisters. In Las Vegas the rise in opioid, and methamphetamine addiction has created the need for Squadbay type living environments for men and women both civilian, and military striving to overcome the of affects of alcohol, and chemical dependency. Squadbay is a nonprofit 501(c)3 Publicly Supported Charity dedicated to providing low cost housing, and helping at risk individuals maintain a sober lifestyle while having the opportunity to better themselves as well as enrich our community. Squadbay offers help with obtaining employment, vocational job skills, computer training, and opportunities for enlistment in our Nations Armed Forces to name few. Squadbay provides one on one guidance in best methods for obtaining educational assistance, grants, and loans from "G.E.D to College Degree."
