6/3/15 - NO GHOST HAS STILL NOT COME HOME. HE IS STILL REPORTED STOLEN EVERYWHERE I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CONTACT. HIS CHIP IS STILL LISTED AS STOLEN. IF YOU HAVE MY DOG, PLEASE JUST GIVE HIM BACK. ITS BEEN MONTHS ITS TIME FOR GHOST TO COME BACK HOME!
My sister in law lives in Caldwell and was watching my dog as my family was out of state for work and couldn't bring our dogs. I saw a found ad on craigslist when I got back with my dog, I tried to call my sister in law and she ignored me for a few days, when she answered he made it out that my pup running off was no big deal.
SO...
I responded to a found dog ad that was placed last Friday (Feb 26, 2015), I was 99% certain that it was my dog.
I tried emailing and when that went unanswered I realized the ad actually had a number and so I texted about the dog.

The people got shady, I asked them to go get the chip in the dog read and instead they asked for the dogs name, when I gave them both names we use on the dog they replied that the dog didnt respond and asked for pictures.
I sent them pictures, no reply. 3 Hours later I asked if they had gotten the pictures, no reply. 3 hours after that I asked if they needed more pictures and they replied that they were out of town and won't no respond back when I asked when they would be back.
This morning they told me the dog they found had no chip and then the found ad was taken down.
I have called all vets and animal shelters in Caldwell, Nampa, Parma, Middleton, Star, Meridian, Kuna and Eagle and not one has had a dog matching the description, which means they never brought him in to see if he had a chip. I left reports at every office I called.
I have contacted the authorities, as well as left lost/stolen dog reports everywhere I called. I honestly think the people who found him were hoping that he wouldn't get claimed. When they stopped replying after I sent pictures, I knew they had my dog.
I have offered them money for my Ghost and they ignore me. They have basically stolen my dog.
I have reported him lost/stolen to the microchip company, as well as updated all my contact information.

A reverse phone number into google shows that the persons name, she lives in Caldwell ID.
If you find my dog please contact me ASAP, or contact the police or animal control. Ghost needs to come home and due to a slip up some lady some found and refuses to return him home.
Where is no greater feeling of helplessness knowing where your dog is and being powerless to get him back.
information has been removed from the ad as the person who found him keeps threatening to press charges for defamation and her bf keeps blowing up my phone with swears telling me his gf doesnt have my.
