I have a super sweet quarter horse mare I am looking to rehome. She is 20 years old and great with kids and teens (she is probably too old to be a male's horse). She has great ground-handling skills, lunges well, and is the kind of horse that falls asleep while getting groomed. Only has been ridden western since I've owned her but the previous owner did a little English. Easy keeper, listens well, she was a lesson horse and I lead small children around on her often. Really great with trails, never spooks, can go through tall grass, running water, etc. Loves kids- she's never nipped or kicked anyone, she's been around kids ages 4 and up, so she'd be a great companion horse. She's around the lower-middle part of the herd "pecking order". She's had several foals in previous homes which has caused slight swayback, her teeth, shots, and hooves are all up to date. I'm looking for somewhere she can live out her life, preferably somewhere with children and a nice pasture. Motivated to find a new home, willing to negotiate price.
