I am in need of some assistance. This year I filed head of household, and by accident, I ended up claiming both children instead of just one. I also did self employment tax. I did an amended return to the State and the IRS, but fear I made a big mistake somewhere. They both sent me notices indicating I owed money to them, but it was significantly higher than any other year. My taxes have been pretty consistent for years, so I would ascertain I screwed up. I need someone to consult me and help me fix this issue, as the IRS is now sending me nasty grams about owing money.
