I would like to start a trippy band that sounds kind of like this.

....and be geared towards and awakening like in the image. Some mentions of human kindness but not shoving it in anyone's face. Just continuing the legacy of trippy music that is soothing and consciousness awakening....good for stress. Anyone can do this and I don't care if you are young or old. I am 42 years old, female, play guitar and piano. That's my face on the space pic. I have written music before. I would not dominate the creation of the music or lyrics in any way it would be for everyone in the band to do. No leaders.

I have an Associates Degree in Communications and New Media so I could edit videos for us or get us an online presence. I will take audio production at SMCC this fall. We can play at the open mic at Empire Dine and Dance on Sunday nights. It starts at 7pm. It will work well there.
I have a practice space in town on the 6th floor of the State Theatre building that is a massage space by day.
Who knows, we could eventually get paying gigs if we're good. I can record us and make a digital mp3 to put online or I can create cd's to sell at like...Strange Maine or something. I can edit audio to add multiple tracks to any recording. I can do graphic design and create logos and cd covers....trippy animation and motion graphics videos with like....our heads spinning around on an ice cream cone or becoming wavy blobs....or.
