My name isTekisha. I am a substitute teacher for Polk County. I am also a tutor for three foster children. I have a degree in Criminal Justice, but I have worked in child welfare for over 20 years linking children to services and providing mental health support. I have a "do whatever it takes" attitude. I believe that each of us require extra support at some point in our lives, but many times it's temporary and we go on to thrive in life.
If elementary math, reading, grammar or writing support is what you're searching for I am the tutor for you. I come highly recommended and the students I currently teach have all improved in their grades and self confidence.
I am available most afternoons and weekends and I present with lots of energy. I can meet in your home or at an aftercare program. I also have a child abuse and criminal clearance.
My fee is $23 per hour and I offer discounts for sibling groups.
