IF you are interested in being part of a grassroots effort to tell the true story about Alaska through true stories and no set up scenarios or storylines, then join us.
We are endeavoring to create a TV Docuseries pilot surrounding Alaska and its people. We cannot offer much information but if you are a creative individual who has experience with complicated camera work and is willing to work for the adventure and opportunity and not pay to make a simple vision a major reality then come with us as we venture Alaska in search of the story that the world should hear. This docuseries will be shot in similar format to the work of Mike Roe so it will require someone who knows how to shoot and document a story.
We are looking for 1 Videographer and 1 editor and one writer to assist with story structure. (ATTN* This is not to be confused with scripting, manipulating storyline, or creating false drama.) the style of creation will be documenting content as it happens. There will be no retakes or do-overs. We want to capture the true events as they happen with the people we film to keep with the integrity of a docuseries.
No age restrictions. We want the passionate type.
-Must have own camera
-Know how to edit
-Understand basic production
-Be willing to travel with the team to the shooting locations (Not established)
The team will travel and film on location with the people of interest and come back and edit the footage to form the pilot. If the production goes to full seasons through a production company or network, those involved in the process will be given priority as opportunities open up. Nothing guaranteed as we are at the mercy of production companies strict operational guidelines.
