These two handsome boys are a special case because they do not do well in a household full of other cats. They need to be the only two or with just one more other cat. With so many, they feel the need to compete and this causes stress with the others - especially those in our home that are our pets, that are here to stay and are the rightful feline owners of the house. It's become a hassle for everyone; them, the other rescues, the pets, and us humans. Because of that we really must find them a temporary foster home immediately (or a forever home too!)
Otherwise, these two are incredible cats! I have fallen in love with them. It's extremely hard to not love them! They're loyal, cuddly, love being brushed and pet and talked to, will talk back to you, follow you around, cuddle up close as you nap or go to sleep, and play from time to time too. But they're also very mellow when you're not trying to get them to play so that makes them cats that aren't in the way or causing trouble. They love to lay around and hang out with their humans and explore the neighborhood. They ARE indoor outdoor cats so a ranch or farm would be amazing for them. They'll definitely want to be in a home where they can go inside too though because they really do crave attention. They NEED a home where they will be pet and where they can sleep with you at night and lay with you during the day. That's an absolute must.
These two MUST stay together. They are extremely close and we tried separating them twice and it went horrible. They whined and scratched at the carpet by every closed door, looking for one another.
They had been adopted but were returned when their owner returned to Hawaii - which we're very happy about because Hawaii requires a 30 day quarantine that is extremely stressful for animals. They also lived in a foster home for 6 months but the owner was forced to move and they had to come back because they couldn't have additional pets in their new home. Their foster mom and previous mom really did love them. We've had them since they were extremely young, about 6 weeks of age and were rescued with their eyes glued shut with dirt and dust because their mother (a stray in an apartment complex) was too stressed to properly care for them due to painters in the apartment complex).

WANT TO TEMPORARILY FOSTER, NOT ADOPT?
If that's the case you must live in the East Valley towns: Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, Ahwatukee, Gilbert - and we may consider other locations depending on distance. You must be less than 20 minutes one way from the Chandler Fashion Center (Mall). We supply everything for those fostering cats but you can donate by supplying the food and/or litter on your own, but that is entirely optional. All expenses being paid for other types of animals being fostered is determined on a case by case basis. For cats it's always an option. If you want to foster we need the following THREE things from you. TEXT the number above with the following THREE things: you're interested in fostering, your cross roads, your email. You'll receive a questionnaire asking what you want in the animal you hope to foster - what you'll accept, what you won't, etc.
DO YOU NEED TO SURRENDER AN ANIMAL?
We MIGHT accept newborn puppies or kittens without a mother. If you have newborn kittens or puppies without a mother please keep this in mind - they can NOT have cow's milk and can NOT go to the bathroom on their own. If you can't provide them kitten/puppy formula and don't know how to help them go to the bathroom they WILL for a fact die. Please ask me for the link to my ad containing information on these two things.
We are NOT accepting cats at this time. We are NOT accepting dogs at this time. We ARE accepting animals in cages such as reptiles, rodents, birds, and things of that nature. We DO require some sort of donation when surrendering an animal. For caged animals that is usually the cage they live in and the supplies that comes with it.
