I am looking for the perfect home for an amazing parrot. Loki is an 8 year old cockatoo that LOVES cuddles and loves from just about anyone. Like most parrots, he shouldn't be homed with children. Loki tries to be dominate and has the potential to be dangerous for a child without proper supervision. Loki had a prolapsed cloaca for years, after being with my family for 2 weeks he received surgery healed well and is now trying to figure out the pecking order in our home! He has recently hissed at my 5 year old and tries to chase my 8 year old. He has not shown ANY aggression towards adults or teenagers. He truly is the most amazing bird you will ever meet and deserves to be in a loving home where he can get out of his cage often. He is incredibly fond of wood toys or items and I am certain that dinner is his favorite meal! Enjoys mimicking the children, playing pick up, taking baths, swiping treats off of the dinner table, calling the dogs, looking directly at you and saying, "I love you" while being tucked in for the night. Loki is constantly surprising me with his vocabulary and using sentences properly, "No I'm mad! Well hello there! So sad. Come back over here" just to name a few.
