MEMBERSHIP DRIVE 2015
Hello all,
the summer riding season is upon us and the weather is clearing up. A group of fellow veterans and federal/state employees and i have decided to open a chapter of the motorcycle club and support brotherhood we started a few years ago before we left Ft bragg right here in the kansas city area.
Now before anyone starts thinking it will be a hell's angels drug running bar busting bunch of dirty hairy men, what we started out as was a support group for soldiers with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. a group of soldiers, for soldiers. then we opened to the law enforcement community for the same reason and grew larger, emergency medical, and so on. strictly a 99%'er group, law abiding, traffic sign yielding family picnic before a ride kind of people.
Our club participates in only things of value such as:
patriot guard rides
PTSD, injury, post weapon discharge peer counciling
charity events, blood drives, food drives, toys for tots, abate
needy family assistance
motorcycle mechanics workshops/ hands on tool therapy
family building functions,picnics family get togethers, to include calming a stressed rider with a group riding session.
we are not a profit group, or a non profit group, we are a club, a brotherhood, a family. period.
Before today, we were such a tight knit group our membership drives were strictly word of mouth. but now setting up a new chapter we thought we'd get a jumpstart this time.
If you're a wounded warrior, or a DLOD or other such case and unable to ride, that doesnt mean you cant join with us. As i said before, we're a support group and a brotherhood of people who understand what youve been through. so if you cant ride, you can ride in the chase truck, if you need help, we can help, thats the point of what we do.
In the interest of privacy for those who may want to join this group because their current job posting or medical condition makes them uncomfortable to join another riding club in the area i will not give out further information on this site about our club name, meeting locations,dates,times, or active members in the community.
In order to set a date for the membership drive we would like to make sure we have enough interest throughout the community. if you are interested in coming to a meet you can email Joe by replying to this posting, tell us a little about yourselves, what interests you about the club and we'll send you more information about us. once we have enough people for a group meet we'll set a date that hopefully works for everyone and we can get together and discuss the KC chapter. ride safe everyone.
