School year VPK for 4/5 year olds starts in August. Your child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2015, to register for the 2015-2016 school year program. Your child will receive 4 hours daily of preschool absolutely FREE. Reasonable wrap-around rates if your child has to stay longer than the 4 hours. TO RECEIVE MORE INFORMATION. Do you have a 4 year old child, or a child who is turning 4 on or before September 1, 2015? If so, he or she is eligible for Florida's Voluntary PreKindergarten Program, better known as VPK. Your child will receive 4 hours of FREE age-appropriate instruction designed to prepare him/her for Kindergarten. Again, that is 4 hours of FREE instruction, and reasonable wrap-around fees if your child will need to stay longer than the 4 hours. I have a licensed, in-home preschool and have met all qualifications to teach from my home. I also have a current, valid, teaching certificate issued through the Department of Education.
