Looking for free packing supplies that will hopefully be saved from going in the landfill and help me out at the same time.
1) Need volumes of packing peanuts - any color/style/size used is (fine as long as they aren't filthy dirty!) Probably need garbage sized bags or bigger to make it worth the travel for me to pickup of course.
2) Foam sheets - these are either styrafoam sheets that might be inside boxes (very typically come inside furniture boxes to protect the wood (usually about 1/2" to 2" or so thick -, ideally 12" or wider and any - OR could be that blown foam that is wrapped in plastic, like you might see for insulation etc. any thickness as long as reasonably flat.
3) Particular Large Used Box sizes - mostly something that would fit a personal computer/laptop, computer monitor, home stereo component etc. I don't care if it has all the manufacturer info on it or not but I prefer the box not be broken down .Need them to be at least 22" wide, 8" tall, 15" deep (or can be a few inches larger in any direction, but not smaller). Needs lots of these as well so if you work at a company with a large IT department they probably get these in regularly and I will take the empty boxes off their hands after they are done. (I will also remove all previous shipping/name information from the boxes before using.)
No real expiration on these needs - I need them constantly (though occasionally get full on a specific item and have to wait for some of that stock to run down before I need more). Can do a porch pickup, parking lot/park and ride meet, in short anything works best for you.
