Submission Guidelines
SMORES Literary journal @fromCAmpfire is a periodical devoted to literature in a broad sense. We publish short stories, poetry, plays and essays along with literary criticism, book reviews, biographical profiles of authors, interviews and letters.
We DO publish all genres including: fiction, mystery, mainstream science fiction, romance, and children's literature as well as screenwriting and playwriting.
Submission Information
There are two ways to submit your manuscript:
1. Via postal mail. Be sure to include your check or money order $5 US.
Optionally, include a self-addressed stamped postcard for confirmation of receipt.

A reading fee of $5 (U.S.) must accompany each submission. Multiple submissions are accepted. Why a reading fee? We are an independent literary journal. Reading fees help defray, but do not entirely cover, the cost of reviewing manuscripts and publishing the works we select.
It usually takes four to six weeks for us to respond to your query or manuscript.
