I am a really (yes, really) busy developer and my workload has sky rocketed in the last few months. I am bringing on some interns to help with my work and learn in the process. I already have 2 interns working along side me, need at least 2 more to stay sane. This is a paid position.
You don't need to be a designer or developer, as long as you are a quick learner and have some experience working with websites.
Ideal Position Description: Seeking Intern front-end web developer/assembler to work closely with creative design and back-end development team to create HTML5/CSS3-based web content for desktop, iOS and other mobile platforms. Should have a basic understanding of back-end programming architecture and technologies used to develop web projects and mobile applications.
Preferred Minimum Requirements
▪ Experience working with HTML & CSS
▪ Ability to update, maintain and add content on Wordpress Websites
▪ Ability and willingness to work On Site near Downtown Phoenix.
▪ Availability for at least 10 hours per week. Schedule can be flexible.
▪ Demonstrate ability to learn and follow directions, and communicate progress.
Optional Requirements
▪ Intermediate understanding of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and responsive design principles.
▪ Basic knowledge in JavaScript/JQuery/Ajax.
▪ Basic knowledge of working with Magento Platform
▪ Experience working with design tools including, Photoshop, Illustrator.
▪ Basic understanding of Responsive Web-design, media queries and mobile-first development.
▪ Elementary understanding of server-side scripting languages like PHP.
Pay: $10-20 per hour DOE.
