QR Code Link to This Post I am currently taking new piano students (beginning to upper intermediate) to start lessons this winter.
I have a BA from Berklee College of Music, decades of experience playing and performing, many years teaching, as well as a background in early childhood education. I enjoy teaching many styles of music, with an emphasis on classical, jazz, blues, folk, and Suzuki Method. I also draw from my many years of experience as a songwriter, performer and composer. I have released many of my own albums and performed around the country. I am always interested in each individual students interests, goals, challenges, and learning style. I love bringing joy, inspiration, and passion through music. I teach young beginners as well as teens and adults and enjoy teaching those who are motivated to learn.
My rates are $27 / half hour, $37 / 45 mins, $50 / hr and I teach lessons from my studio at the Baker Building at 5511 N Albina Ave. I currently have openings on week day afternoons and other varying times - students who start lessons in January will receive 10% discount that month.
