Writers Wanted for Oddball Writing Challenge (Everywhere)
Hey Everyone,
I was doing some brainstroming and started typing furiously. I ended up with a long sequence of uninterrupted text. There were lots of interesting thoughts and little pearls that I found after going back to look at the mass of words. There was no editing, no backspace and no revising. Just typing. I managed to create lots of interesting ideas. I have done this before when in school and kind of enjoy it. I also find it pretty difficult. I would love to see if there is anyone out there that would be down for a fun odd ball writing challenge. Kind of silly, but you might come out with a nugget or two out of it.
The Challenge: Go head to head and continuously type uninterrupted for as long as possible. No editing, backspacing or hesitating. It should be pretty constant typing. Just let it flow. Whoever can go the longest wins! It will have to be a pride thing for now.
Ideally we could find a platform to share screens and show what we are tying to one another. Both to prove the other isn't bending the rules and because it is more fun to share. At the end, it might even be fun to trade papers and offer each other a new perpective.
Anyways, kind of a long shot, but it could be a fun interactive brainstorming activity for another writer.
