The Apartment:
Beautiful 3 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Lake Merritt Apartment in the park with beautiful lake/park view. The free room is a very well lit corner room and has a bathroom shared with only one other roommate. The kitchen has very modern appliances and the living room/dining room area is very spacious. All hardwood floors, heater/fireplace heated, and street parking. The front yard is the Lake Merritt Park and great for picnics or exercise! Within walking distance we have bars and clubs and are near the BART station to take a straight train into the city.
Current Roommates:
Early 20s Business Sales Trainer -- works a typical 9:00am to 5:00pm schedule. He enjoys playing basketball, yoga, surfing, going to concerts and playing the keyboard.
Early 30s Medical Scientist- works from 11:30pm to 8:00 am on irregular night schedules. I enjoy a good beer, traveling, adventuring, working out and a good movie.
For the most part, due to our different schedules we rarely see each other during the week.
The Perfect Roommate:
We are seeking the perfect roommate and won't accept anything less. We are laid back people and really need someone laid back if they're going to have a good time with us. We're more of a living community as opposed to roommates.
The perfect roommate must:
-Be very open to meeting new people as we have friends stay over on occasion
-Be easygoing and not easily frustrated by constant changing situations
-Want to live with us as opposed to necessity.
-Be employed and be able to pay monthly bills and have a reserve

If this sounds like the place you want to live at please shoot us an email depicting why you think you would fit in with us and some of your life experiences. If you seem cool, we will be conducting in-person interviews. Phone interviews will be considered but more attention will be given to those who can meet in-person. The room will be available May 1 and it may take us up to a week to make a decision as to if you are the perfect match for us.
If you're unsure, come try us out for a month. If it's not the right place for you, you can just let us know and leave at the end of your month. I am sure though that if you have the right personality, that this will be the place for you! We look forward to meeting you.
