Our real log cabin is located in the heart of the Poconos and is available for year round enjoyment for all that the area has to offer! Sit on the front porch and overlook beautiful Beltzville Lake State Park with a 7 mile long lake, lagoons, and feeder streams for fishing, boating, hiking, and swimming. The park also has 2 boat launch locations, a sand beach, wooded picnic areas, and miles of marked hiking trails.
Blue Mountain Ski Resort is visible across the valley and we are within a short drive to Camelback, Big Boulder, Jack Frost, and other popular ski areas. Ice fishing on Beltzville Lake is also very popular in the winter, when cold enough!
Penn's Peak is only a few minutes drive from the cabin. It's a great place for dining, hosts big name entertainment, and has spectacular views of the Blue Mountain Ridge.
The Historic Town of Jim Thorpe is a 10 minute drive, where you can enjoy old time shops and take a ride on a steam train. Pocono International Raceway, Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom, Pocono White Water Rafting Adventures, and biking on the Switchback Railroad Trail are just a few of the many outdoor activities nearby.
Our cabin will sleep 10 people. One bedroom has a queen and single bed, the other has a double and single bed, and the open loft has a double and 2 single beds. There are 2 full baths and linens are included. The fully equipped kitchen is next to a large dining area and a two story great room. There's comfortable seating in the living room and a wood stove provides comfort and warmth on cold wintry nights (traditional electric heat is also available in each room). There is a large screen TV with DVD player, WIFI throughout the house, washer and dryer, and plenty of parking. Sorry, no smoking inside or pets. Adults age 25 and older or families only.
