Whiteface Mountain Chalet is your ideal vacation home. With amenities including a hot tub, steam shower, Finlandian dry sauna, six bedrooms, four and a half baths, outdoor fire pit, indoor gas fireplace, outdoor living space, state of the art kitchen, and much, much more, it has everything you and your travel companions will need to truly relax. The location of the chalet is paramount, its close to skiing, hiking, mountain bike trails, water sports, shopping, dining, attractions, and so much more. Situated on a nice lot, the views and serenity of this home are breathtaking. You will never run out of things to do while on vacation at this home. Whether you're coming for a quick weekend or an extended stay, Whiteface Mountain Chalet is the perfect place to call your home away from home.
Whiteface Mountain Chalet has six bedrooms, five with king beds and one with a queen bed, it comfortably sleeps 12 people, but can sleep up to 14. Each bedroom has its own unique style with comfy linens and warm color schemes. There are three master bedrooms on the main and upper levels and the lower level bedrooms each have their own private entrance. Each of the bedrooms has a flat screen television with basic cable channels, plenty of closet space, comfortable warm lighting, and ceiling fans for warm nights. During the summer months, From May 15th to Oct 15th of each year, will be equipped with air conditioning units the (1) bedroom on the main and (3) upper levels as well as the living area have air conditioning unit and the house is heated with an in floor heating system.
There are four and a half bathrooms at Whiteface Mountain Chalet. Three of these bathrooms are master bathrooms located on the main and upper level. The half bath is also located on the main level. A queen size blow up mattress and a crib are provided at the home for your convenience. All of the master bathrooms have oversized shower stalls and warm lighting. The lower level bathroom has a huge steam shower. Also located on the lower level is a Finlandian dry sauna.
The kitchen and living room combination at Whiteface Mountain Chalet is the perfect place to entertain and spend time with your friends and family. The living room portion of the combo offers a comfortable sectional sofa, a flat screen television with basic cable channels, a fireplace, and surround sound. The kitchen is a master chefs dream. It has an open floor plan, tons of counter space, and is fully stocked with every tool needed to prepare awesome meals for the entire crew. There are stools around the kitchen island for everyone to dine and spend time with each other. There is also a small desk included in this space and wireless internet, local, phone calls are included.
The outdoor living space at Whiteface Mountain Chalet has awesome amenities to help you enjoy your vacation even more. The huge wrap-around deck connected to the main level of the home offers a maximum five person hot tub, an outdoor dining area that seats six, and awesome views. The yard of the home offers a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and plenty of room for kids and adults to run around and hang out.
The location of the chalet is perfect for adventurers, shoppers, foodies, skiers, hikers, and everyone else. Its located 1 1/4 mi. from Whiteface Mountain, a 15 minute drive from Lake Placid, and much more. There are plenty of hiking trails within a five-minute drive of the home. These trails vary from relaxed walking/beginner trails all the way up to hard climbs/expert trails. Just 1 1/4 mi. from the chalet is the Whiteface Mountain ski center. Home of the 1980 Olympics, this mountain offers tons of fun rides for every level of ski or snowboarder. The town of Lake Placid, a short fifteen-minute drive from the home, offers shopping, dining, attractions, and much more.

REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT: The $500.00 Security Deposit is fully Refundable 15 days from the expiration of your stay once the property has been inspected and no damage has occurred. If property damage occurs during your stay, the Security Deposit covers up to $500.00 in damages. Guest must pay for all repairs and replacements when it results from his or her act or neglect over $500.00. If you bring your pet you must vacuum home, remove pet waste from property. $150 will be retained if any one of these items, i.e.-home is not vacuumed, or if pet waste has not been removed, or if damage is found.
