Our furnished lakeside cottage, located just 20 feet from water's edge, is a perfect place to vacation in Maine. You won't find a more beautiful or convenient, yet secluded spot, anywhere.
Enjoy swimming, kayaking, paddleboats, fishing, canoeing or relaxing on shore. Head to town by taking a 5-minute ride to local Ellsworth, a cozy Maine town with great shops, restaurants, and local entertainment. Interested in a day trip? Enjoy a quick, yet scenic ride to Bar Harbor (5 star dining, whale watches, ocean harbor cruises, and more), or Acadia National Park (Cadillac Mountain and incredible hiking or biking trails). You can also try your luck at Hollywood Slots in the Bangor area, which is less than a half hour away.
If you are craving a true Maine experience, it doesn't get more peaceful and beautiful than this. The cottage is located on 200 feet of water frontage in a quiet sandy cove with minimal development or boat traffic. In addition to the serene lake, there is a large stream behind the cottage to enjoy more canoeing and kayaking.
Inside, you will find this cozily furnished 2-bedroom, 3/4 bath cottage is 1 story. The 1st bedroom has a queen bed and bunk bed, and is lined with windows overlooking the lake. The 2nd bedroom has a full bed and bunk bed. The common area has a full size futon, fieldstone fireplace, Direct TV, VCR/DVD, and a CD player. The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, stove, refrigerator, microwave, and is furnished with plates, pans, silverware, etc. The cottage can accommodate 6-8 people.
Out front, you will find a 10'x19' screened in porch and a 12' X 12' sun deck overlooking the water & sunsets with a gas grill for cookouts. At the dock are two kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, rowboat, life vests and fishing poles for your use.
Groceries, supplies, laundry facilities, etc. are easily accessible in Ellsworth. Please furnish your own linens. Pets maybe considered on a case by case basis.
Rental Terms*:
$250 advance rental deposit to secure reservation
50% of rental fee is due within 30 days of rental week and the rest within 2 weeks
$250 security deposit check due with final rental payment and refundible upon departure
Payment method: Check or money order the balance is due within 14 days of rental week
