I work two steady jobs in the fitness/healthcare field. I am currently taking a break from studies so I can strengthen my self-care and become more of an advocate for myself (great success so far and I am continuing that progress!), but will return to school (PSU then NCNM) in fall/winter term. I am interested in social sustainability and naturopathic/holistic/integrative health!
I am in a relationship with myself and nurture that by volunteering at the St Francis dining hall weekly, staying active outdoors and the fitness center I work at, reading (just finished Middlesex and am starting When Women Were Birds), cooking, watching some Netflix to decompress (been watching TED Talks, Life Stories, and food justice documentaries lately), being artsy/craftsy, dancing, gardening, music, and spending time out of the home with my family/few close friends.
I deeply value open and honest communication. I practice transparency, while allowing others their privacy/discretion. Being more of an introvert, I enjoy time alone to recharge. However, I also love the feeling of community and support within the home; therefore, having conversations or occasional hangouts are enjoyable! I enjoy keeping a clean home and get a sense of therapy out of tackling dirt/grime without being obnoxiously OCD about it.
My other relationship is with my cat. His only concerns in life are to warm as many laps as possible, make all the muffins, take naps 20 hours/day, and purr as many soothing purrs as he can. He is an indoor cat of about 6-7 years of age, fixed, with claws (does not strike at people or claw up furniture), has complete indifference to catnip, cat toys, or play time. He will love you in the truest sense of unconditional. What amazing gifts he has given me <3
As an Emotional Service Animal, I can have him in places that typically do not accept pets.
I am looking for a place to call my home sanctuary. I prefer a private setup, as I have living room/kitchen furnishings that I would like to incorporate into a space, as well as my bedroom stuff. However, I am open to a shared home/private room setup with the right flow of intentional dreamers/thinkers/lovers/builders.
LGBTQIA... friendly. OMMP friendly, as I have my card and enjoy making medibles/tinctures/etc.
I am interested in keeping costs below $650 including utilities, with a move in date before June 20th. Preferably North of Foster, West of 122nd, East of Downtown, and South of Killingsworth (but if your place fits the above criteria, I am open to expanding that).
