I am in need of a new roommate. I currently live in a spacious 2.5 bedroom apartment in the heart of Lakeview, close to the corner of Sheffield and Wellington.
There is a shared bathroom, kitchen, living room, and dining room. Your room includes a large closet and a door (gasp!). Contain your excitement, please, It. Gets. Better!
I have furniture for the common rooms as well as kitchen essential in place already though you are more than welcomed to add your own if you'd like. You would need to furnish your own room, of course.
The Wellington Brown Line is only a half block away, so if you like to rush to work, this may be for you. It's also a 10 minute walk away from Advocate Illinois Masonic hospital for those who prone to injury and have worrisome parents.
There are excellent restaurants within walking distance such as Panes Bread Cafe (aka my 2nd home) and DMK Burger as well as various other bars in the neighborhood (karaoke bar is 15 minutes away for the aspiring American Idol in you).
For those miserable lot that have cars in the city like this poor sap, the neighborhood is permit parking but I've never had much trouble finding parking. I've lived in this neighborhood for the past 3+ years and it is amazing. The people are friendly and they are made up of young professionals and families.
A little bit about me, for those who are inclined to know. I am a 26 year old balancing a professional life while going back to school in the evenings. My partying days are way behind me, though I am not against the occasional night out.
I am a huge proponent for personal privacy and space. Believe me, we all need a safe space to unwind. I am not loud, am learning to cook (and loving it), key word being "learning". I'm an avid reader whose book collection is in danger of growing out of control (in a 12 step program for that). I think I am personal and friendly, quick to laugh and not one to be easily offended (my Mom says I'm cool, too).
Honestly, I'm just looking for a good person to live with so let's both me awesome about it. Rent is $700/Month, utilities are not included, unfortunately, though they round out to be ~$90/month.

DISCLAIMER: I have a 7 month-old lab-terrier puppy. He is as awesome as he is adorable, but I'm still training him and it's still a work in progress. That being said, he's incredibly friendly and awesome and will make a quick friend of you.
