This is a newly finished private huge gorgeous penthouse room (20' x 15') with floor to ceiling windows on two walls facing South and East, skylights facing North, and extraordinary tree-top views overlooking woods and gardens nearby and Hartford skyline in the distance. Hardwood floor, walk-in closet. Amazing sun. Brand new (clean!) bathroom right next to room and kitchen and living room/guest room (bathroom, kitchen, living shared with one other person) along with gorgeous West-facing balcony, great for watching sunsets. Granite countertops, own heating/cooling controls. Beautiful tree-top views in every room.

This is a warm and welcoming home, full of sun and surrounded by gardens including a pool and next to acres of woods, walking trails and a golf course. It is less than 10 minutes from Hartford and West Hartford, only 15 minutes from Bradley airport. We heat with a wood stove in winter and it is very cozy. We have a big garden. There is a cat and a family (rescue) dog. It is a 4-floor house. Artwork and quilts adorn the walls, vases of cut flowers from the garden in summer. There is a Jacuzzi in one of the bathrooms and kitchens well-stocked with appliances. You control your own heat/cool in the rooms.

You have full access to kitchen and living areas, wireless for easy internet access, cable, full use of pool/gardens/ decks etc. The room is furnished, but bring what you'd like to be comfortable. We can be flexible. However no smokers please (this is not flexible, sorry). My three children (ages 12-14) live here half time and enjoy the people who share the home, and vice versa.

Must be able to provide first and last month's rent, plus one month security. Must provide 3 references. A deposit is required to hold the room. 30 day notice, but prefer person who intends a longer/indefinite stay. Can do video walk-through/skype interview if long-distance needed.
Utilities are $95/month additional. This includes elec, heat, water, pool, internet, cable, snowplowing, etc.
