I am cutting back on my aviary...I have a blue/gold macaw pair that I would like to sell. My female is very prolific and has layed up to 5 eggs in one clutch before but it is normally 3 to 4 eggs.....she sits and feeds very well....she is plucked on her chest as she plucks herself and her mate to put in the nest box....she will step up if she is out of the cage....talks some..she is around 9 month old and I do have her DNA papers.
Male is around 9 month. old and he is a little rough looking but his feathers are all coming back in since I took the nest box down and the female is not plucking him any more. I have his DNA papers also....They need a place to themselves, I have alot of very noisey Quakers that I believe may be distracting them. They are the only BIG birds I have now and I need the.
