ELVIS, a very special cat, won the hearts of everyone on staff. This big guy was trapped at a trucking company in Commerce City and brought to the clinic, and the staff noticed that he wanted too much affection from people to be feral. They also discovered he was both FIV+ and suffering from dental disease - it was obvious he was in a large amount of pain due to his infected mouth, he had 16 teeth removed!
As soon as he came back to the clinic after having this work done, he was a different cat. It was so obvious that he felt better and was no longer suffering.
ELIVS is now ready for his forever home! What can we say about him? His two favorite things are the laser pointer and Temptations Treats. He is very smart, often directing us with cries when he wants in or out of a room. He owns the clinic on the days he's here for adoption and has everyone in the palm of his "paw". Plus, he is SO incredibly handsome! A classic tabby, we believe he is between 2 and 3 years old. He does get along with other cats, but is just as happy on his own. He really just craves attention and action. He loves to sit on top of our wall and just watch everyone. We're going to be sad when he no longer comes for visits, but his foster mom knows he needs a family of his own and he's ready!
Adoption fee: $20.00 includes his neuter, microchip, distemper/rabies shots, deworming, free initial vet visit.
