Zachariah Dean Band Seeking Guitarist (Fort Collins)

The Zachariah Dean Band is a Colorado native country/rock cover band in need of a lead/rhythm guitarist. The Zachariah Dean Band is a four-piece band consisting of ONE guitarist (responsible for rhythm and lead/solo work), drums, bass guitar, and lead vocalist.
ZDB is entering into our busy season with 12 shows scheduled in the next three months. This number will keep increasing, as we like to stay busy.
ZDB will be hosting auditions over the next two weeks starting the evening of Thursday May, 14 @7PM.
Guitarist requirements:
*Must be a quick study; 40 songs in 3 to 4 weeks. If you have a repertoire of your own country covers, we can discuss adding your list to our own. Once we get you up to par, we will be adding four new songs each week to keep our set list fresh for our fans.
*Must have an ear for musical tone and an overall feel for country music. We prefer feel over flash, we strive to FEEL like country music and not just play the notes.
*Must have your own guitar rig for live performances (electric and acoustic guitars, amp, and pedals). Our rehearsal space (Higher Ground Rehearsal Studios) is equipped with top notch guitar/bass amps, mics, and monitors.
*Flexible schedule; ZDB rehearses twice per week (two hours per day, mandatory) and performs at least three times per month. Some performances are scheduled on weekdays; you might be required to leave work early or take the entire day off.
*Must be able to sing back up vocals. TENOR is a plus. ZDB has a strong focus on harmony. We try to perform at least two-part harmony somewhere in every song. We also have some tunes with four parts.
*Ability to travel; ZDB takes an occasional weekend trip out of town to perform. i.e. Laramie or Douglas, WY.
ZDB is more a family than a band. We share the same friends and spend time together on and off stage. We all have jobs and play music because we love music. We don't play to pay the bills. We do pay well, but we are not in the market for a "hired gun". We are looking for a person with the same passion and drive for music as we have.
The three of us are in our late 20s and love to have a good time. The perfect fit would be someone (guy or girl) who can come hang out twice a week to rehearse and rock the house on the weekends.
