Roommate wanted
Looking for one or two responsible persons to share my home. The rooms here are already furnished w/furniture. 3 rooms available. Rent depends on size of room, anywhere from $100, $115 or $125 per week is the rent. Rent is paid weekly here (like extended stay hotel, you pay for the week you stay). I don't rent monthly due to this being a temporary hold-over to your permanent home & I find weekly works best for me.
Rent includes:
- all utilities: electric, heat, water, air conditioning, sewer/trash
- 250 channels Dish network
- Charter wifi (110mg)
- Sharing of common areas: kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer
- Tenants must buy their own: food/drink, toiletries & laundry detergent
- Be clean and clean up after themselves
- Be willing to contribute to household chores
I'm a non-smoking person and only want to rent to non-smokers (tried it the other way, and no one wants to go outside in 10 or 100 degree weather to smoke, so non-smokers only please). You must be ok with dogs, cause I have 2 small very friendly dogs, no other animals are allowed. There are no drugs or drama here, want to maintain a relatively peaceful household. The house is on the bus line, close to shopping, restaurants & convenience stores, 7 min. to all highways, in a good part of Alton IL.
About myself: I'm a laid back person, I enjoy movies, dining out, the outdoors, cooking, music: I'm a musician (musicians are welcome) must be able to tolerate loud music (band practices here). I'm renting rooms to offset the cost of remodeling.
I'm looking only for those who are employed full-time & can verify that with check stubs. And if you're interested, please have paid rent somewhere else & can verify that as I need to know that you'll pay the rent, in full and on time weekly. And please have at least 3 personal references (you will be emailed an application, but if you don't like that idea, we can do it over the phone).
