I am a former professional and currently have a section 8 voucher. I was in my previous home for 5 years, I paid my portion of the rent on time every month without fail. I have regular steady income. I am looking for a 3+ bedroom with 1+baths with a fenced yard that is pet friendly. I have 2 adult neutered dogs who are both crate trained and very well behaved one is a border collie/setter mix and the other is a Catahoula/Coon Hound mix.
The current fair market cap for my voucher is $1085. I have paid many application fees during my current search with many assurances from people that I was being considered but found that I was always overlooked for other applicants, even after having been approved by one agency they now tell me they don't have anything pet friendly.
I'm spent, and I can't afford another application fee only to be told they went with someone else. I am honest and I pay my rent.
I need a home for my son's and I need it asap.
