3 legged cat looking for a Cat Whisperer (Golden Valley)
Hello,
My name is Mitsu and I am about 2 years old. I am a white and orange male cat and have just 3 legs. I'm having trouble getting along with my fur brothers and sister. While my human mom loves me very much, she knows I would rather be the only pet. Right now, I live with 3 other cats and my human family (2 adults and 3 kids ages 12-16).
When I was born, my cat mom rejected me because I was born with a leg that didn't work. I just dragged it behind me so the vet told my human mom that it should be amputated. Having only 3 legs doesn't keep me from living a normal life. I can go up and down stairs and use a regular litter box. The only thing that I can't do is jump.
I am so fearful of strangers that I hiss and growl at them. I may even go for their ankles. Once I get to know someone, I will rub against them and want them to be my friend. Because of this, I would need to hang out with you before I could go home with you. My human mom says I act like a dog, warning her when someone is at the door by growling and following her around.
My human family thinks I would do best with one adult who is home a lot and only wants one pet. If you decide to take me home with you, my human mom will ask for a small rehoming fee. She really loves me and doesn't want me to be harmed when I move. If I go home with you and you decide it isn't the best thing for you and/or me she will insist that you bring me back to her. She only wants what is best for me so her door is ALWAYS open to me.
If you think you have the patience to get to know me please contact my human mom, Jo. She is really sad about even having me write this letter but she is hoping that there is someone out there that will understand my fears and love me anyway.
