The SAT is a tricky test, not only because of the content, but also because of the time period during which it is taken. Any college-bound student gets the significance of this exam.
If you son or daughter is thinking about moving on to college, chances are he or she is getting ready to take the SAT . However, we know that students do not live in a vacuum. The SAT is among many other things (sports, assignments, different tests, extra-curriclulars) that they have going on, and SAT prep may take second place behind these other activities.
I pride myself on being a very efficient SAT teacher. The one positive about the SAT is that it is quite predictable. Thus, my goal with every student is always to locate weaknesses and to correct them , rather than wasting time learning areas that have been mastered.
Once we discover a weak topc, I have my own original SAT curriculum of over 1500 practice questions that is used to turn around these less skilled topics.
Lastly, I tutor professionally, so I am totally there for your son or daughter, especially between meetings. When they have to text me a question at 10 pm or 6 am, I'm there to answer it.
