We are on the lookout for an outgoing, responsible promotional sales specialist that is interested in performing Portlandia wine promotions at retail stores (grocery and fresh markets) and more!
Your responsibilities would include representing our company as the official Portlandia Spokesmodel of Idaho, speaking to customers about the wine and persuading the customers to purchase the wine. But there is more. We need someone who can go the extra mile with this. We need a brand champion for our wine label!
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and maintaining account relationships for our brand. This will include interfacing with retail managers and distributor reps.
• Market work with our current distributor to build strong brand presence and rapport with both retail and sales reps.
• Occasionally give brand presentations to distributor sales teams.
• Build solid relationships with key retail wine managers.
• Maintain a promotional calendar and book your own retail events.
Qualifications:
• We require our promotional specialists to be 21 years of age or older
• You must be extremely outgoing, self motivated and confident
• Have a strong sense of humor (we are not a serious wine!)
• Extremely communicative and responsive to email/phone
• Own and drive a car
• Wine knowledge a huge plus, so is a background in acting!
This position is based on an as needed basis. This is not a permanent, full-time position.
Most retail promotions are 3 hours long, i.e. 4-7pm on weekdays and 1-4pm on weekends. Market work is during the week (M-F) of typical work hours (but only for a few hours at a time).
