Early 2000s PunkPop

Do you like bands like Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, The Early November, Saves The Day, Armor For Sleep, The Used? Do you play the guitar, bass, or sing? Interested in covering music from that genre/time period?

I'm trying to get a feel of what the current interest is in forming said cover band. My hope is to find a bunch of good players who want to have a great time reliving this era of music. Although the goal is to create a show that's exciting and sounds awesome, I'm really not interested in trying to make a living off of this or taking up all of your free time with nightly band practice. What I'm looking for is players who:
- are genuinely into this type of music (if you're not, this project probably won't make sense to you)
- can play well
- like to practice in their free time and are willing to do some homework
- can free up a day once a week leading up to shows
- can show up on time
- are nice people and easy to get along with
- don't need to make money off of this and would be willing to pay a few bucks for a rehearsal space

This is a small example of artists I'd like to cover (totally open to recommendations):
- Matchbook Romance
- Coheed and Cambria
- Saosin/Circa
- Senses Fail
- Finch
- Armor For Sleep
- Anberlin
- Just Surrender
- Thursday
- Motion City Soundtrack
- Paramore (if we can find a girl singer)

Ideally, this would be a band where everyone learns the material on their own, practices a few times leading up to the show, and plays once or twice a month (not actually limited, but that seems pretty realistic). I currently play in a working band on the weekends, so most of our shows would probably land on weeknights. I realize that in looking for talented players who aren't super serious about making money I may be aiming at a pretty small demographic, but since I don't want this to be a source of major stress it's going to require a pretty special group of people or else won't be worth doing.

I currently have a practice studio at Profile in Minneapolis and would be willing to put my rent money ($200) towards a bigger room as long as I keep the keys- not trying to be a control freak, I just have a lot of drum gear that I wouldn't feel comfortable giving others access to it when I'm not around.

If you're interested, shoot me an email and tell me a little about yourself. Any additional info like demos, videos, etc would be super helpful but aren't required. Also, feel free to hit me up with any questions. I look forward to hearing from!
