Gorgeous Pair of Lab Mix Dogs, 15 Months Old (East Greenwich, RI)
Hi, Our Names are Jackson and Amelia!
We are an adorable pair of Labrador Retriever mix dogs. We are a brother and sister, both 15 months and weigh 30 pounds. We live in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. We have had some training, but are still in our "puppy phase", which tends to be longer with Labs.
We love each other very much, and would love to find a home where we can stay together. Our perfect home will have no other dogs, a securely fenced yard, older kids, and owners with time to spend with us, and some patience for us while we mature and settle down.
A little more about us...
Jackson -- Jack is a loveable dog that tends to be shy especially around men. He will back away and maybe growl until he gets to know you, but after that he loves to snuggle and get belly rubs.
He has been to obedience training and understands basic commands, but still is a puppy and as such has a ways to go when controlling puppy instincts. He is great on a leash and in the car and is house broken for the most part. Jack does not like to be in the crate and will do whatever it takes to break out of one. . .and usually succeeds.
Jack would probably be best in a home with no other pets or at most maybe one other dog. Also recommend no small children -- only because I'm not really sure how he will be -- he may be fine, just not sure. He is very protective of his 'pack leader'.
Amelia is a very friendly and easy going pup. She loves everyone she meets and just wants to play with all her dog friends.
She has been to obedience training and understands basic commands, but still struggles with puppy instincts. She is mostly housebroken and will sleep in her crate. She loves to please you and give kisses. Amelia has tons of energy and will do well in a home with other pets or no pets.
