I have been working on and off island in various aspects of the agriculture field for the a little over the last couple of years.
I started off working as a general landscaper doing loads of various tasks such as basic weeding all the way to tilling and planting. I then worked on a couple of farms, One in Washington state, and another Poha berry farm on the Hamakua Coast.
After doing that for a while, I gained experience as a vegetable gardener helping people out in their at home garden beds. Soon after I worked as a gardener, I got an internship working at a Aeroponic/Hydroponic greenhouse operation. Through that internship I not only learned loads of how to build and manage Aero/Hydroponic systems, I also learned about maintaining, pruning, and harvesting tomato plants.
I also worked in a fruit tree planting nursery as well as at a farm and garden shop.
