Any students of Jazz music in Oahu interested in learning and playing jazz under the direction of a professional musician and instructor, contact me! I, too, am an adult student learning to play the trumpet. A local professional, who operates a music school on Oahu, has agreed to the idea of teaching musicians to play in a jazz setting if there's enough interest, so please contact me to learn more if you'd like to learn to play in a jazz band.
