QR Code Link to This Post Experienced Lead Singer, Bassist, and Rhythm Guitarist - My background is in Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae, Punk, Blues, and Progressive Rock, and Celtic/World music. I am a former member of mainland recording and performing bands Rocinante', Saffire, Social Insects, NuBoys, ÖR, and GenkideSka. I have had different opportunities here in Hawai'i (backing bands, all cover bands, etc. - decent pay but I am not into music for the money) but still have not found what I am looking for. I am open to studio and live situations (preferably both with the same group of musicians). My main focus is to enjoy making music and appreciate getting together with like minded people. Ready to gig when the timing is right. I have a full-time career, so I am looking to do this as a serious side endeavor, hopefully with the same people long term. Seeking mature/seasoned musicians, no flakes, big egos, bad communicators, etc. Not looking for people that only want to jam. Not looking to be part of a "backing band" (been there, done that). The ideal would be a totally collaborative effort between all musicians in the band (writing, singing, etc.), three piece a plus!
