I am thrilled about what I offer and excited for you to come see for yourself, if 'My Friends' is exactly what you're hoping to find for your child during these very important developmental years. Even if you're "just shopping around," I'd be happy to meet with you. Visiting a number of child care and preschool programs gives you a good idea of the variety of options that are available and help clarify what you're really looking for in a program.
I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in early childhood education and have thoroughly enjoyed being a program administrator and teacher for many years. While my children were young, I was a licensed family child care provider until closing "My Friends Christian Child Care" in 2000, when they entered school and I started graduate school. Already in 2001, I was back as a teacher/director and things continued to take off again from there. I've loved it - the kids, families, program development, etc! Nevertheless, when a nearby house became available in 2011, I jumped at the opportunity to re-open 'My Friends Christian Child Care' in a residence designated solely for early childhood care and education. It's the absolute best that homes and centers have to offer young children. ...because quality is crucial!
